Only one pup left! Male black and white Shih Tzu.
Shih Tzu are considered a non-shedding and hypoallergenic breed. They have hair not fur like most short haired breeds. The Shih Tzu breed was originally bred to be a companion dog and that is what they love to do. This breed loves to be with you, please you, and be adored, in return they will adore you too. They are not yappy dogs, but may bark at strangers who come to the door until they realize that the person at the door is just their next best friend. If socialized properly they will love all people, animals, and situations.
Mom is black with a tiny patch of silver on her chest, she weighs 9 lbs. Dad is liver and weighs 8 lbs. Parents are from well known lines- Paddi's Tzu Closet and Sweet Tooth!
This litter will not be registered, sold as pet only. Litter was whelped(born) on May 27, xxxx. 6 weeks old now. He can go home with you at about 10 weeks(around August 5th). Shih Tzu develop more slowly than most breeds and do much better if they stay with mom until 10-12 weeks of age. The pups in this litter will be small Shih Tzu, between 7-10 lbs.
The pup will be dewormed and vaccinated at appropriate ages. His dew claws have been removed. He has already begun potty pad training and I can begin crate training for you if you desire. He has been raised in my home and loved on by small children, teenagers, grandparents, and adoring friends. He's been raised with other pets and a busy household. He is used to the normal sounds of children and adults, music, vacuums, hair dryers, computer games, meal times, and all of the complexity of family life. He's been on car rides, spent time in a kennel, in a crate, been outside on the grass and pavement, had a harness on and practice with a leash. He is the last one left, don't delay he's so adorable and snuggly that he'll find a home quickly!
